Caterpillar's Dream
About Us

Caterpillar’s Dream began with a simple idea: what if a pet’s resting place could remain nearby, part of everyday life, instead of being buried out of reach? From the beginning, we set out to challenge the conventional idea of the urn - not as an object defined solely by its function, but as a considered design piece in its own right. We design sculptural forms that can sit naturally in a home or garden - grounded, present and visually complete.
While they are fully functional, they are conceived first as objects to be observed and lived with.
This approach forms the foundation of our work: creating permanent pieces that hold memory in a subtle and lasting way, without relying on traditional memorial aesthetics.
Drawing on our backgrounds in fine art and design, we handcraft each urn from durable, natural materials with refined finishes and carefully considered proportions. Each piece includes delicate metal details integrated into the form, as well as a small hole - a quiet, symbolic gesture suggesting a connection between two worlds.
Caterpillar’s Dream reflects the idea of transformation and the lasting impact of change. Just as a caterpillar becomes a butterfly, our work acknowledges how memory and love evolve over time. We create objects that give shape to loss in a meaningful and enduring way - expressing both transformation and the presence that remains.
